| This book was very odd. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it... it
just was not what I expected it to be. I expected, from reading
the blurb, this to be a "13 Going On 30" in reverse. Instead the
30-year-old woman goes back to being 16 (her parents are the ages they
were when she was 16) but instead of going back in time to the year she
was 16 she travels back in time a month. So, she's a 30-year-old
in a 16-year-old's body in the present day - basically. Anyway,
aside from the extremely confusing time travel, the storyline was
interesting and somewhat unique (you have to be creative nowadays with
romances). I'd recomend this book with a warning, "Reader:
Beware! Confusing Content Within!"

| What an interesting little book! This book shouldn't take you
long at all to read - it took this slow reader less than 45
minutes. Anyhow, it's an interesting take on what bullshit
is. I love the way that Frankfurt presents his evidence. He
also uses a good amount of sarcasm (which definitely appeals to
me). Anyway, if you have an hour or less and want an interesting
informative book I recommend this! (I didn't tell you this, but
just go read it at the bookstore! )

| What can I say about this book? I LOVED it! If I had to
choose a favorite of the books I've picked this year, THIS would be
it! First, let me warn you, this is a teen reader with female
main characters. Most of the guys I know would turn their noses
up at this book. With that said, being a girl and a lover of
kid's books, this was awesome. It made me laugh. It made me
cry. This book made me feel. The ending was not sad -- not
even a little bit -- but for some reason this book made me cry. I
think it was all of the emotion from it. I loved the unique way
Brashares told the girls' stories (she randomly leaped from girl to
girl - no order - but it worked). If you like a good fiction
novel you should definitely try this one out! (By the way, there
are 2 more that follow this one -- I haven't picked them up yet but I
intend to in the very near future.)

| I know. I'm WAY behind everyone else, but I just finished The
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Oh well, that doesn't stop me
from being able to give it a review, right (just because everyone's
already read it?!). Anyhow, if you're looking for a good book
with humor, irony, sarcasm, and just that little something, you should
pick this one up! This is not a book for the serious
reader! This is a silly book that in Adam's words is supposed to
show that Sci-Fi can be funny -- and it definitely can! If you
like a good, funny book try this one out! (It's not for everyone
but I sure liked it.)

| What a pleasant surprise! I know I like CSI and other shows with
forensics but I thought this would be too technical. It
wasn't. I was looking for a Patterson-like novel but not a
Patterson (I just wanted something different). So, I picked
Cornwell. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who likes a good
murder mystery. She shows you the side of a medical examiner
(among other things) and describes it in a way to trap you in. It's
really all I can do not to pick another one of her novels up but I'm
trying hard to expand the amount of authors I've read. Seriously,
if you like murder mysteries you should try her!
